[Silk für feine Schriften]: Unter dem neuen OS 10.1.5 kann in manchen Anwendungen eine Schriftglättung zuschalten. Aufgefallen ist das zuerst beim Update für Office v.X SR1 unter 10.1.5. Mit dem Freeware-Haxie Silk funktioniert die Kantenglättung nun auch in allen anderen Carbon-Anwendungen. Was z.B. bedeutet: Mozilla sieht nun genauso gut aus wie Chimera. The author takes the reader step-by-step through the workings of CGI, mod_perl, DBI, HTML::Mason, security, content management and organizational makeup for community, corporate and e-commerce sites. Within four chapters, there's a web site framework in place and working.

I was impressed with the quality and utility of the code presented. Useful scripts are always appreciated. The errata page for the book reflects the apparent effort expended by Manning and Theo in preparation--there is none so far.« [Linux Journal]
